Economy
New Jersey's economy surrounds the ocean. We have several small profitable farms in the colony, but we rely mainly on fishing as our colony is aptly located on the shore. If you enjoy seafood, New Jersey is a great place to live and work. Our colony also has shipbuilding industries that bring in quite a profit for New Jersey. The shipbuilding industries use the wood resources from the Northern part of our colony. Many men work their trades in our small towns, and are able to make a decent living. New Jersey is an easy place to make a living doing something you enjoy. Our currency was the British pound until 1793, but we also have local currency.
